Between 5 October and 16 October, EA Super Trend XAUUSD climbed from rank 46 to rank 2 on the MT5 bestseller list. Over the same stretch its reviews went from 2 to 20 (as of 16 October), averaging 4.82 stars. The proof behind the climb is the vendor's own signal, and that signal is 4 weeks old.
The signal started with 100 USD at 1:2000 leverage. A retail client in the EU gets at most 1:20 on gold, where the same positions would need a hundred times the capital. Since then the account has been topped up to 380 USD, and several deposits can hide an account's deepest drawdown. AlgoCheck records three dirty tricks here: a minimal deposit with maximum leverage, multiple deposits, and the 1:2000 leverage itself.
AlgoCheck counts 120 entries added to a losing position at a worse price on this signal, eleven of them with a larger size, and up to six positions open at once. The trade list shows the pattern: on 13 October at 18:17 a buy of 0.01 lots at 4,164.19, at 19:19 a second buy of 0.02 lots at 4,157.91 while the first was under water; both closed at 20:52 below 4,149, 0.03 lots at a loss. Adding to a losing position with a larger size while the first one is still open: that is martingale, and that is how AlgoCheck lists it. The signal's deepest drawdown so far is 13.2 percent.
