The MQL5 Market Report

What our archive recorded this week: how the classified products spread across the risk classes, the deepest measured reading, and the moves picked up by the daily snapshots.

From the Top 20

Reckless risk blows up the account. A fresh one takes its place

Account harakiri: two losing trades cost 33,671 USD; all twenty winners made 29,744 USD. A single trade lost 16,108 USD on a 4,500 USD deposit, at 1:200 leverage. At that size, a stop saves little. Risk management is absent.

In late October the account stood at its peak and Morpheus ranked 15th and 16th among MT5 bestsellers. On 6 November, after the crash, the product page shows a fresh account: started on 4 November, a 500 USD deposit, one trade. The 22-trade account is missing. Since 7 November its signal page on MQL5 is deleted.

Our risk class “Stop discipline observed” has so far checked only how a system is built. For this account it falls short: one trade cost 52 % of the balance. The size of a single loss is therefore being added to the class.
